Reviews and Ratings
The hotel provided a classic European ambiance with good-sized rooms offering lovely views over the golf course, though accessed by only one occasionally faulty elevator. The service was outstanding, exceeding expectations with a variety of pleasant amenities available. The location was convenient for enjoying all that Miami has to offer but came at a higher cost than anticipated. The dining experience was a mix of European luxury and disappointment. Overall, a mixed but memorable stay.
My stay at the hotel had its ups and downs. The rooms, although clean and stylish, could benefit from a facelift. The view of a full dumpster was not the most appealing, and the bathroom door wouldn't stay closed, which was inconvenient. However, the overall cleanliness was impressive.
The hotel felt more like a Marriott than the luxury it once was. The Junior Suite had an overpowering smell of air freshener or carpet cleaner, but the renovation of the rooms was noticeable. The service was incredibly professional and friendly, ranging from valet to free parking. Although convenient to the airport, the location did not meet my expectations for a birthday weekend at $400+ a night. The dining experience was excellent, with an amazing courtyard setting and a price around $120 with tip.
Arriving late around 10:30, we found the hotel buzzing with weddings, making food options scarce except for room service. The room had a major issue with a flooding AC unit, sounding like a running faucet for hours. Despite the early morning door knocks, the rooms were sizable.
The hotel provided a mixed experience with very private rooms but in need of updating. The service was friendly, but some areas needed improvement. The location was peaceful but required extra walking to access amenities. The dining experience was excellent overall.
The hotel offers rooms more akin to a Marriott style than its previous luxurious standards, with good size and occasional turndown service. The service is provided by a friendly and attentive staff who aim to please, offering a choice between valet and free parking. The location boasts elegance, proximity to the Venetian Pool, and a history reflected in well-kept surroundings. The dining experience, set in a lovely courtyard, provides an amazing selection of cocktails, caviar, and great food, though some areas lack quality in food and room design. The facilities overall are well-maintained with positive staff interaction, but pricing may not always align with the value offered.
